Frederick Ward Associates Announces Leadership Transition

Frederick Ward Associates, Inc. (FWA), a leading multidisciplinary design firm specializing in architecture, engineering, planning, and surveying, is excited to announce a significant transition in leadership. After more than 30 years of dedicated service, including 10 years as President, Tory Pierce, PE, is stepping down from his role as President and moving into a Senior Advisor position.

The company is proud to announce that John V. Mettee IV, Prof. LS, will assume the role of President, effective immediately. Additionally, Thomas Miner, PE, CCM, will move into the role of Senior Vice President and Director of Engineering.

Tory Pierce has been an integral part of FWA, guiding the company through periods of growth and innovation. Under his leadership, FWA has established itself as a premier provider of comprehensive design solutions in Harford, Baltimore, Cecil Counties, and the surrounding region.

John V. Mettee, IV brings over 25 years of experience to FWA, having served as Senior Vice President and Director of Surveying. With a deep understanding of the company's operations and a proven commitment to client service, Mettee is well-positioned to lead FWA into its next chapter. Thomas Miner, PE, CCM, will continue to provide strategic leadership as Senior Vice President and Director of Engineering, leveraging his extensive experience in civil engineering and project management.
